Amazing Digi Scrapping Race

Hey...do you recognize these two gals a rockn' and a rollin'?

We are Qadirah (QadirahDesigns) and Lajuana (scrapladyandmore) CT members at Deco-Pages. And we are Team Number 164 entered in the Amazing Digi Scrapping Race (ADSR). This is the 5th year for this fun event and the first time for either of us to participate. We travel from host site to host site the next 6 weeks receiving 2 challenges each week. There's deadlines and prizes with each challenge.

We are not alone in this race...Nelleke and Dawn are the Deco Darlings and Team 174...so you all can cheer both teams! Both Deco Teams are pumped and ready to get started. We will receive our first challenge February 7th

QADIRAH'S CHALLENGE LAYOUTS

Challenge #11 - Humpty Dumpty  - Well this was very interesting.  See the main page for the template and the challenge particulars.  Here is my LO:

Challenge #10 - What inspires us - We both chose Family and this is the collaboration we came up with.  Credits are listed in the gallery:

Challenge #9 - Opposite's attract I call it.  We were given a color wheel to chose a color and our partner had to chose the exact opposite.  My partner chose "blue" so my color was "orange".  I enjoy that color and here is my layout for the challenge.

We were also given a quote by Mary Lou Cooper in which we had to use part of the quote.  This was great fun to do.

Challenge #8 - Someday

Challenge #7 was to create a "bucket list"... I had been thinking of doing that prior to my back surgery so I just added a few things and there it was.. all 50 entries... Challenging of course... I enjoyed working on this.

Challenge #6 was a roadblock and only had to be done by one teammate.. Lajuana did this challenge and it was fabulous.

Challenge #5 - Chocolate.. this is absolutely one of my best things to scrap..anything decadent, luscious, mouthwatering and CHOCOLATE.  I used Lori Staton's kit, Chocolate Lovers.. The layout includes the recipe for the challenge plus a couple of extra's: 2 papers, 1 stitching, 1 tag, 1 frame, 1 ribbon, chocolate (kiss) and cup of "hot chocolate".

Challenge #4 - ATC and a tribute to our partner
A tribute to my partner... a John Lennon quote.. I get by with a little help from my friends.

The One's I Love - my grands and greats!

Challenge #3
Challenge # 3 was very interesting for me.  We had to scrap a focal photo and then color only one part of the photo and of course provide a date element and at least 20 words of journaling.  I almost thought this was going to be difficult but I pulled it off.  Check it out.

Challenge # 2

Aren't grandchildren and great-grandchildren fun? I think so that's why these are 5 of my 9 reasons I love being a MOM-MOM. Their personalities, their humor, their trouble-making all makes up for a fun filled and over joyous day when they are all in one room. I hope you like the layout.

Challenge #1 - My partner
I enjoyed working on this first challenge. It gave me the opportunity to really get to know my partner aside from the CT.  I felt her to be a warm and positive person with a great personality from her layouts and comments.  After talking with her one-on-one, she is just as I thought.  I am so glad to have had this opportunity to meet the lady behind the beautiful name, Lajuanna.
